I haven’t taken a picture of food since the cupcake. I’ve been eating fairly well, though. Notable foods from yesterday include grilled steak with mixed veggies, and a doughnut. Covered both ends of the spectrum, there.
I tried a spin class yesterday and actually had fun! Of course my butt muscles hurt today, despite my efforts that included using a towel for cushioning, lol
I’m off the wagon, but not so far behind that I can’t jump up there tonight.
I weighed in on Saturday, and it’s good news!! Then, I went to a photo shoot, cracked a tooth on popcorn and then decided truffles were a good replacement snack.
Sunday was mother’s day, and so, of course, I spent it with family.
I had two small pieces of cheese cake last night, and a cookie bar with lunch today. What was I thinking??
It’s back to zero tolerance for treats, I think.
Added some inspiration to the bathroom mirror today :). Breakfast was oatmeal with peanut butter and honey
This is a first: cold, left over steamed veggies as a snack. Paired with baked cheddar crackers, it wasn’t bad!
Lunch was a ham sandwich with spinach 🙂 same as yesterday.
Gnocchi!!! Every time I say “gnocchi” I enunciate it like the character Yoshi when you choose him in Mario kart. Sometimes, “the hubs” and I go back and forth exclaiming “gnocchi!!” until we dissolve into giggles.
Seriously, go make this recipe..
I only had a couple of sugar attacks today. The first was after lunch, and I pinged Eli. It was funny, in a way. He just said “breathe.” And that helped. He also offered an orange, which I thought was sweet enough 🙂
My only concern with giving up sugar (-y snacks) would be picking up salty snacks. I had cheeze it’s for a morning snack. The almonds pictured above are my solution to another late day craving 🙂
After work, I was still ravenous, so after guzzling water, I landed on a choice of beef sticks for a snack. Ehhh…
The good news is that I got a ten minute walk in. The bad news is that I was still “starving” when I met up with Jeff, so we went out to dinner.
My hangry got the better of me, and we split a cookie before the meal. We were at Davanni’s and I had a solo Hawaiian on thin crust.
Breakfast was a yummy piece of banana bread that I made it home. There were even chocolate chips in it! I, of course, had some coffee as well. Lunch was a turkey sammich scarfed down between emails and my lunch break is being used for a nice walk . I cannot believe it’s 45 degrees out!
this weekend I spent a lot of time spring cleaning and I even have a bicycle trainer set up to her living room. I cannot wait to get more active.
